We believe a well-run auction provides one of the best vehicles to liquidate your assets. We work for the seller to bring the highest best prices the market will sustain. 

The elements of a well-run auction include:

  • Integrity – We care about our reputation. We want the communities we work in and the buyers we serve to know that we are committed to maintaining a reputation of honesty.

  • Professionalism – Auctioneers and auction companies are the face of the seller. It is important to treat the buyers (even difficult ones) with professionalism and fairness. Also, hand painted, homemade signage may look homey and may save money, but it does not give the impression the auction company is on the cutting edge of business. Our commitment to our sellers is to provide professional signage from handbills to large real estate signs and to treat our buyers with the universal principle that everyone should be treated like we would want to be treated. 

  • Marketing –It is imperative to connect the right buyers with the merchandise that is being offered. Some auction companies will spend a lot of money marketing the auction, but it is misplaced marketing. Marketing can be very expensive and every dollar spent needs to be focused on the right audience. Many of the traditional ways auctions have been advertised are no longer effective, tend to be very expense, and in the end are nothing more than free advertisement for the auction company, but do not market the merchandise being offered. Our commitment to the seller is to always stay focused on the seller and their items being sold and making every resonable effort to get the product in front of the right buyers.

  • Organization – A poorly organized auction leaves money on the table by frustrating and confusing the buyers. Every aspect of the auction must be planned out and organized in a way that makes logical sense and works with the end goal in mind. Our commitment to our sellers is to always work with this end in mind. The way we setup an auction and conduct the bidding process needs to be evaluated and flexible enough to make adjustments as needed.  

​     Country Green Auctioneering is licensed by the Pennsylvania Auctioneers Board of Examiners and is bonded as per state requirements. Additionally, we are members of the Pennsylvania Auctioneers Association and Greater Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce. Country Green Auctioneering is the fulfillment of a childhood dream that started while growing up on a farm in Central Pennsylvania. 

     As a child I always loved to listen to the auctioneer chant.  During college I started working for a Fortune 50 company in the logistics industry.  Over the next 21 years I worked at various levels of management for that company and in several different departments.  During these years I was able to practice the important skills needed in order to run a successful business.  As much as I enjoyed working for a large company as a mid-level manager my long-term goal was to run my own business.  

     Working for this corporation really prepared me for running my own business and especially the auction industry, where both customer service and logistics are very importantThe auction business combines all of the things I enjoy into one awesome business.  Whether it is creating the energy for conducting a live auction or marketing an online auction, there are always many different challenges and skills needed to run a successful auction. 

      Country Green Auctioneering has several goals that distinguishes us from most auction companies.  First, we are attempting to raise the bar for customer service in the auction industry.  While most auctions are advertised “as is where is”, County Green Auctioneering is actually offering a 72-hour return policy for certain auctions.    Secondly, we are committed to maintaining a reputation for honesty in our community and among those who do business with us.  Thirdly, we are committed to the highest level of professionalism that we are capable.

We specialize in the liquidation of assets in many areas including, real estate, estates, new, and used merchandise of all types including construction and farm equipment. We conduct auctions through our online platforms and live-in-person with simulcast.
